No bloggers at a PR conference? Then, I guess, there won’t be much PR going on.
Actually the PRSA Tech Section hosted a panel session on digital media and blogging at our 2004 conference and has contributed to the Strategist and Tactics for articles that will shortly be appearing on this subject.
In addition, we are hosting a FREE Web seminar on blogging. The session is entitled
“PR and emerging communication channels
Evolution of PR: emerging communication channels in the 21st century” and will be held on October 6th.
More information on the event is here :

At least they didn’t invite Torrie Clark to return.
In defense of PRSA, their publication PR Tactics, was writing about web logs as early as 2002.
That is NOT the same thing as having a session about blogging at the International Conference.
The PRSA might not have anything on the agenda…but Edelman is now blogging: http://contentcentricblog.typepad.com/businessblogs/2004/10/a_a_hrefhttpwww.html
