The Wait is a short social documentary set on the steps of the 5th Avenue Apple Store in Manhattan where the National Coalition for the Homesless newsjacks the story of a group of people waiting for the new Apple iPhone 6.
Scores of people slept on the street outside the Apple store for days, despite rain and chilly nights in NYC. They all got to go home with their new phones on September 19th. But 600,000 homeless American’s don’t get to go home.
The video contains a clever message urging you to text “NCH” to 85944 to donate $10 to the National Coalition for the Homeless. Please do that now.
Then you can unbox your new iPhone in the comfort of your own home.
