A Michigan inventor has a patent pending on Sloops, jeans for the guy fond of “gorging himself at the meal table.” Sloops have a “relaxed fit front design with a tighter fit rear seat area to perfectly match the physique of the typical suspender wearer.”
Some extra inches in the waist are apparently designed to accommodate a beer belly. The jeans have no belt buckles because they are designed to be worn with suspenders from, where else? suspenders.com
Marketing tip to inventor: A good place for this company to advertise would be on Match.com to guys who fudge just a little when they describe themselves as “athletic and toned.”
