Simply Fired is a site seeking the best stories about bloggers who have been dooced, and others who’ve been fired in outrageous ways. It is the clever viral brainchild of Simply Hired, an employment agency.
Simply Fired’s contest has prizes for the “funniest, saddest, most outrageous story about how you were fired or laid off.”
One of the most interesting things about the site is the list of stellar judges, including Mark Jen, fired from Google for blogging; Phil “Pud” Kaplan; Forbes.com columnist Guy Kawasaki; journalist Jim Louderback; Business 2.0 writer and blogger Om Malik; Chris Pirillo; Eric Rice, founder of Audioblog.com; Steve Rubel; and Biz Stone, who has yet to be fired from Google’s Blogger.com
Simply Hired’s website says its goal “is to make finding your next job a simple yet effective, enjoyable journey.”

   One of the contestants has 8 entries – 8 different stories of getting fired. He/She either
   – thought this is a fiction-writers’ contest
   – is too lazy to create several userid’s
   – or is really the worst employee of the world getting fired 8 times :-)

   i think you’re referring to ‘contestentries’, which is the account our forum moderator uses to re-post entries on behalf of the contest submissions we receive via email.
   however, there are a few folks who have posted at least 2 entries it seems ;)
