Benny Bix went to church tonight and was blessed as part of a special ceremony conducted in remembrance of St. Francis of Assisi’s love for all creatures. Benny’s Jewish, but a blessing never hurt anybody.
It was a wonderful sight to see the church filled with dogs, cats, parrots, pigeons, a ferret or two, all in close quarters.
No animal barked, hissed, growled, or peed on the floor. It’s like there’s an unwritten animal code that says “Be cool man, you’re in a holy place.”
People have so much to learn from animals.

How fabulous! Yes, animals teach us so much. I was playing with my Westie Max recently and thought he gives so much asks so little.
Outstanding, B.L. St. Francis was my husband’s favorite saint. Thank you for sharing Benny’s Blessed moment.
