BusinessWeek notes that the explosive growth of blogging has brought the new medium into Madison Avenue’s sights.
With regular online advertising growth — estimated to be about 35% this year — already is far outpacing spending increases for any other sector of the media world. “Add to all this the fact that about 11% of Internet users today are inveterate blog readers,” the article notes, “and the blogging scene starts to get mighty compelling for marketers.”
