The story of CNET reporter James Kim’s death is, without a doubt, one of the saddest stories I have ever read. I loved his gadget reviews, his easy sense of humor. Everything I’m reading about him shows that his devotion to his family was truly beautiful. My thoughts are with Kim’s wife and their two young children, whose lives he was trying to save when he lost his own.
I agree that this story is incredibly sad. I just got married to a wonderful man, and I keep thinking about what he would do in a similar situation. All of the experts on TV have been saying that you must stay put, don’t leave the car, etc… but if you’re a father responsible for your family and you’ve been lost in the wilderness for seven days, it’s totally undersandable that you would want to leave and go find help. I can see my husband doing the exact same thing. It is so tragic that James lost his life trying to save his family. My thoughts are with the Kims and his CNET family.
Yes I agree with you, this mentioned tragedy is very sad. I think Kim did have too much bad luck before died.
