How cute is this! The Idaho Potato Commission is staging its second annual ITuber Video Contest. How do you win? All you have to do is create a fun skit using Idaho potatoes.
They’re jump starting the competition by giving an MP3 player to every “qualified entrant while supplies last.” Gentlepeople, start your potatoes. Contest ends May 31.
“Nearly all of the entries last year were from young people, most of then under 25,” Frank Muir, the commission’s president and chief executive officer told The Packer.com. “They’re the ones who know how to make videos.”
By expanding the contest to include a category for Idaho high school students, the commission is attempting to go into schools where video production departments are a part of the curriculum, he says.
