Blogads founder Henry Copeland told a BlogNashville session on monetizing blogging that he knows blogging is getting more mainstream all the time. That’s because his dental hygienist gets blogging now.
Three years ago, he said, when the hygienist asked him what he did, he said “blogging.” She said “oh.” The next year she asked him again and he again told her he worked in blogging. She said something like “that’s nice.”
But this year, when he told her he worked in blogging, she said “Oh, I’ve read about that. Good luck with your blogging!”
OOOPS! Henry says “Damn, I must have flubbed my story. She actually said “good luck with the flogging.”

Close enough, eh? ;)
Well, I think we can consider blogging mainstream by now.. I can’t go a day without hearing “blogosphere” on the news..
Never really liked that word.
