Here’s an email pitch from hell
“Dear blogger: I have come across your blog at https://www.whatsnextblog.com and think it is interesting.
Let me introduce you our new service at www.xxx.com which i think you might find useful. It will allow your readers to read your blog from their mobile phones…. Mobiles are becoming anywhere-everywhere media tools allowing instant reach with rest of the world. And this is one of the conviences [sic] to get closer to your readers and spread your ideas.
Thank you for attention.”
Dear Flak: You don’t have my attention. And you won’t get anyone else’s with a pitch like this. Please get a clue.

LOL. Here’s the procedure for a pitch like this:
1. get list of high traffic blogs – create mass email list
2. use software that will auto-insert in the spitch (spam pitch)
3. throw in a trend – it will seem like you really thought this through
4. hit send and let it fly
Are PR people still using and teaching it this way? Sadly, yes.
