Starked points to the story of a dimwit whose 20-second YouTube video led to his arrest in Wrexham, north Wales.
The video, posted as “wxmboys,” has been removed. I wonder how many other videos will lead to the arrest of morally-challenged would-be stars. And whether the happless young man whose glasses were snatched will join the opportunistic legions who are suing Google for one thing and other because they allowed the video to be posted. Legal issues are bound to get sticky as consumer generated media proliferates.
Lots of lawyers probably see YouTube as a big opportunity.
