Yahoo! News today launches Hot Zone, former CNN international correspondent Kevin Sites’ reports on global conflicts using video, audio and blogs.
While denying that it is becoming a traditional news organization, Yahoo! also announced that it’s hiring nine authors of financial best-sellers to write financial columns for Yahoo! Finance. Ben Stein, Robert Kiyosaki and Stephen Covey are among them, and the company plans to hire as many as 30.
Yahoo! Sports already features original commentary from a team of writers, including the former pro basketball players Clark Kellogg and Steve Kerr.
