Specificity, passion, and reader comments are the reason blogs become successful, according to a post in This is Not a Blog, a webzine produced by the Digital Journalism Class at New York University.
This Is Not a Blog would be a lot more impactful if it were a blog. Comments, permalinks and trackbacks are not available. I hope NYU is not training new journalists to work without feedback.
