A missing sticker has led the Up Your Budget Treasure Hunt to declare a re-match in San Diego.
The re-match was relatively graciously accepted by treasure hunters commenting on the blog. Last week, Budget awarded $30,000 in prizes to winners in three cities. The second week of the four-week blog-based campaign kicked off today.
The launch, announced only on blogs, without a press release to traditional media, will now enjoy traditional as well as online PR. Kudos to Budget, the campaign sponsor, for “getting it,” and allowing an online-only launch. I know it took a lot for them not to write that launch press release.

I can see the room full of trembling PRbots.. ‘must not write release… must not… ARGH!!!’
Kudos for making them see the light!
