Using the power of social media to spread the word, anti-war coalition Troops Home Fast will launch a celebrity-studded Troops Home Fast hunger strike in front of the White House every day from July 3 until August 14th, when they move the hunger strike to Camp Casey in Crawford, Texas.
Fasters will include Grannies for Peace, Cindy Sheehan, Dick Gregory, Willie Nelson, Sean Penn, Danny Glover, Susan Sarandon, Eve Ensler, Alice Walker, Rev. Bob Edgar, National Council of Churches, Daniel Ellsberg, Pentagon whistleblower, Paul Hawkins, author, Paul Kangas of Veterans for Peace and many more people worldwide. Outside the United States, fasts will take place outside U.S. Embassies.
