Apple.jpgI’ve used PCs since 1985, first IBM, then Gateway, then Dell. I’m on my third or fourth Dell and this one is a lemon, pure and simple.
As anyone who reads this or thousands of other blogs knows, Dell tech support sucks. So I’m going to the other side: I’m gonna buy me an Apple iMAC. I went to the SoHo Apple store today, and I loved the entire experience. Here are the top 10 reasons I’m switching:
10. The iMAC is pretty
9. I don’t know of anyone who ever went back to a PC after switching to MAC. (Do You?)
8. It’ll run Windows and MAC software (yes, I have heard Windows programs run slower, but they do run)
7. The people who work in the Apple store don’t work on commission. They are actually there to help you.
6. I don’t know anyone who has ever had a terrible problem with an Apple computer
5. My brother and my brother-in-law, both of whom are professionally involved with computers, each say their next computer will be a MAC.
4. The Apple store will transfer my data and install Windows Office (that I will buy) for free.
3. My Dell computer is a lemon and I’ve been in Dell Hell for a month
2. The new memory Dell sent to replace the memory in my broken Dell Inspiron was defective and that was the last straw
1. Dell tech support sucks
Have you made the switch? How’d it go? Are you happy with your Apple? How’s the service?
