Audio Graphics suggests that “Radio, in an identity crisis of its own, may be able to take the public’s interest in bloggers, incorporate a “common man” minute into its programming, and come out with a new image. That a media would speak for the community instead of its corporate owners is a large stick in this anti-media age.”
“While audio blogs are beginning to get noticed in the form of podcasts, there is still nothing being delivered by the broadcast community that allows the citizen-voice to be heard.”
Remarkably, this suggestion will be a new idea for a lot of broadcasters, used to sending one-way messages.

Hmm, I always thought talk radio was supposed to two-way and allow the citizen-voice to be heard.
The Bruce and Colin show on WTIC in Hartford CT is incorporating bloggers on their show more and more and I believe there are other talk show hosts that blog.
I thought so too! But only so many people can get through on talk radio. Blogging allows greater participation than any medium to date.
