Blog readership in Amnerica rose 58% in 2004, with 32 million new readers according to Pew Internet and American Life Project survey.
However, more than 60% of online Americans have still never heard of blogs, the survey found. [Many of them must live under rocks.]
More than 6 million Americans now use RSS aggregators to allow them to subscribe to feeds from blogs, news sites and other websites.
Only 7% of the 120 million US adults who use the internet had created a blog, although 12% had posted comments to blogs.
