It’s one thing to be sloppy when people are playing a game. But the current election is anything but a casual issue and PBS should know better than to let its polls become political games.
Apparently lacking the IT-savvy to prohibit people from voting multiple times in its polls, you can go to PBS poll that asks whether Sally Palin is qualified to be vice president (NO! No! No! and No!) and vote as many times as you have patience for. Now, according to emails making the rounds this weekend and this morning:
“The right wing has organized a “yes” campaign–and the “yes” is at the moment winning. Takes literally 2 seconds, vote here“
I completely agree. And it’s unfortunate that so many otherwise intelligent people are descending into this back and forth. I got the “left wing” version of the call to arms — twice.
I look forward to seeing you at lunch tomorrow :)

Looks like they changed the poll…
I voted and got this afterwards:
Do you think Sarah Palin is qualified to serve as Vice President of the United States?
Yes 49%
No 49%
Not Sure 0%
