Our friend Ed Miller who lives in Lake Tahoe, CA, and is a Fire Captain Commissioner there, sent us a link to photos of the fire that is raging there, and has already razed more than 200 300 homes.
Ed’s beautiful home is about 10 miles from the fires, but he has friends who’ve been burned out. He says it’s very smokey even so far away and that the lake is gray with ashes.
Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone there.
FIRE COMMISSIONER’S UPDATE: 7:30 PM EST –
“Update: Fire has taken off again…Gardner Mountain is being evacuated 15th street and Venice Drive are being evacuated. Fire has jumped hwy 89 and is on West way. Its coming into the City
