Piggy editors at the The NY Daily News have sunk to new lows by running three surreptitiously taken photos of Martha Stewart in a bathing suit on a Paradise Island beach getaway. Presidential campaign news turns up several pages later.
They also run the photos of Stewart on the paper’s Website. That’s unusual and clearly intended to humiliate her as she deals with the consequences of the long witch hunt that soon will land her in jail. Most photos are removed in the Web versions, largely because media doesn’t want to pay photographers for Web rights.

Double standard alive and thriving.
Gee, Should we be looking for upcoming candid photo sessions of Sanjay Kumar of Computer Asociates, the Arthur Anderson boyz or J. Tomothy Howard of Fannie Mae, in their beach trunks? Will they “unwrap the green striped towel from around their waists to reveal…bikinis, thongs or briefs??
Will we find out if they prefer Calvin Klein aftershave or if they just use “Lectrashave?” After all this is NEWS, isn’t it, and inquiring minds want to know.
