Conservative columnist Bob Novak has touted the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth book Unfit for Command without revealing that his son heads marketing and PR for its publisher, according to ODwyer PR. (subscription required.)
Novak told The New York Times that disclosing his son’s position is “irrelevant,” adding he’s functioning as a columnist with a “strong point of view.”

I had the unpleasant experience of sitting next to Novak on a recent flight. The man had a cough the entire flight. Never once covered his mouth.
I could only take from that experience that this is a guy who just doesn’t care who or what he infects.
