Ok, so I can’t help being nuts about Australian Labradoodles. But this breed is more than just cute. They were developed in Australia as non-allergic guide dogs for the blind. And now many Doodles are going great work as assistance dogs.
The International Australian Labradoodle Association’s newsletter details some remarkable cases. (Try to ignore the awful type as you read the stories.)
Benny Bix Ochman Labradoodle and I will start training as a Delta Pet Partners volunteer team this winter. Hopefully by then he will have stopped jumping on people to demonstrate how happy he is to see them.
