Besides being the visionary who predicted the social media revolution in his remarkable 2002 book, Smart Mobs, futurist Howard Rheingold paints little murals on his shoes. I didn’t paint mine, I bought them that way. But you can bet I’ve got a pair I want to paint now, with Howard’s instructions

Now it makes sense….when Howard asked me to write for SmartMobs he sent me an email with a picture of a shoe on it – I did not know why…but I said…he’s asking me to write for his blog – so forget about the shoe (or ask him about it).
