Comscore’s study of bloggers sparked controversy and angst this week, and hostilities flew between two of the best-known blog networks. Comscore’s study explains how bloggers spend their time and money online. But the research was challenged by several prominent bloggers, and the controversy points out the problems of developing blog metrics for advertisers and CMOs.
As Rick Bruner pointed out, all the study really proves is that the blog audience is “bigger than a breadbox.”
