Kudos to CBS TV News for upholding its journalistic standards by reporting fairly on the controversy over CBS brass’ decision not to run a MoveOn.org political ad during the SuperBowl.
During last Friday’s CBS Evening News, Lee Cowan reported on the controversy, allowing both MoveOn and CBS to present their viewpoints. This was balanced reporting on a controversial topic CBS News might have avoided, given their own company’s involvement.
Good to know that, even though CBS brass has its head where the sun don’t shine, everyone there hasn’t totally lost it.
