Poynter Institute reports that columnist Jonathan Dube, publisher of Cyberjournalist.net and co-editor of Web Tips has been named editorial director for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation’s Website, CBC.ca and Sree Sreenivasan, co-editor of Web Tips, Sree Sreenivasan has been named Dean of Students at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism
The Web Tips column will “take a brief hiatus while both move on to new full-time jobs.”
I don’t know Dube, but Sree Sreenivasan is a friend. I told him two years ago when he was an associate professor at Columbia that they should make him the dean. :>) Congratulations to both.
