CBS executives claim to be completely shocked and to feel hijacked by Janet Jackson’s Super Bowl boob display. But let’s get one thing straight: the boobs we need to worry about are the ones who run CBS.
CBS has refused to run a 30-second MoveOn commercial that is critical of the $1 trillion budget deficit run up by the Bush administration. According to CBS brass, the network’s policy prohibits it from running “controversial” ads during the Super Bowl.
Yet Janet Jackson’s bare breast was ok to broadcast and so was Bud Light’s “Horse Fart” and yuppie crotch biting ads, as well as an erectile dysfunction drug marathon. I’d have loved to be a fly on the wall when the commercials and half-time entertainment were approved. Sounds like the boys at CBS were enjoying one too many Buds at that lunch.

With MoveOn.Org receiving a groundswell of support from the American Civil Liberties Union, National Organization of Women, 28 members of the House of Representatives, Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) and many more, it is pretty clear that CBS has all the smarts of the poor armadillos who were forced to race during the Super Bowl pre-game show.
