There seem to be some new episodes of Dog Judo, the funny Virgin Mobile viral effort begun for Christmas 2004 as part of a “Don’t Forget Your Camera Phone” campaign. The episodes, which are dry and veddy British, feature “Barking” Bob Bones and “Ruff” Rex Hunter.
There are five episodes so far, and you can sign up to receive new ones. The site is set up so the virals can easily be sent around. There also are ads for an Irish bar, an Indian Restaurant and a Cab Service on the page.
The spots are strange and funny enough to make people want to pass them on. But the “Don’t Forget Your Camera Phone” theme is rather extraneous. Too bad, because there is so much that could be done with that theme.
