The Wall Street Journal reports that Sprint and Nextel Communications have tentatively agreed to economic terms of a merger of equals that would create a third giant cellular carrier with nearly 39 million subscribers.
I wonder if we will finally have a company that allows micropayments by cell phone. And will we now have cell phone stores only on every other corner?
