bazooka.jpgBy B.L. Ochman Bazooka Bubble Gum has launched a contest seeking Bazooka Dance videos. The campaign centers on the song, originally called “Choo’n Gum” recored by Teresa Brewer in the 1950s. It’s been popular for many years with summer camp girls who changed the lyrics to “Bazooka-Bazooka Bubblegum.”
The site lets you listen to the song, mash it up, make ringtones, do a karaoke version, make your own video and send it to a friend. You upload your video to YouTube, saving Bazooka the trouble and expense of creating a video upload site of its own.
Social media sites like MySpace, blip.tv, flickr, SecondLife are providing easy tie-ins for marketers’ campaigns, saving them huge programming fees.
