CyberAlert, Inc., an online media monitoring company, will award 10 PR grants worth a total of $25K for one full year of the company’s news monitoring/press clipping services to not-for-profit organizations. Organizations in US and Canada can apply Application deadline is December 31.
Yeah, this comes from a press release. But the email pitch was pretty straightforward, “As a PR blogger, you may be interested in the news release below on PR Grants.” So I didn’t zap it unread like I do with most PR material.

It’s worth noting that the Google Grants program was recently accepting their annual submissions. I believe they opened up applications in September. You can apply here: http://services.google.com/googlegrants/application
Each year they allow a number of non-profit organizations 3 months of free AdWords if they’re accepted.
Thanks John! This makes me wonder if there are any other grants out there for not-for-profits or small businesses?
