If there’s something more empty-headed than celebrity publicists, it just might be Gawker Stalker. Gawker Stalker earned a huge PR hit in the Daily News today. But, hey, if you don’t want people gawking at you, don’t become a celebrity. After all, if people didn’t want to see you, you’d be nobody.
Readers email their celebrity sightings to Gawker, who uses Google maps to pinpoint their location and posts them immediately to the stalker page. One big circle jerk. It gets scary, and dangerous, when celebrities are seen with their kids, and I hope Gawker will not publish photos of the kids.

I think it’s a terrible idea to track people this way…anyone. I hope Gawker stops doing it right away.
Pretty scary!
