Not only job hunters, but also hiring managers study blogs according to the article. Employers get a sense of candidates’ perspective and job seekers learn a lot about companies’ attitudes.
Cartoonist Hugh McLeod, of Newcastle, England, creator of Gaping Void, is in negotiations for a position with a Manhattan ad agency. He features his zany cartoons, which are often about sex, and he blogs about the advertising industry and other topics.
