You know blogging’s gone mainstream when the tabloid NY Daily News launches two baseball blogs, one for the Yankees (go Yankees!) and one for the Mets
Says the promo, which doesn’t bother to define the word “blog”:
Starting today, the Daily News is expanding into the blogosphere – with Yankees beat writer Sam Borden and Mets beat writer Adam Rubin blogging the latest news, views, behind-the-scenes insights … and a whole lot more you won’t find in the paper.
Starting tomorrow, the Daily News launches a blog about New York City Politics, written by online political columnist, Ben Smith, who’s leaving the NY Observor to join the News.
Also launched today, Ballbug, by Gabe Rivera’s Memeorandum to spotlight the most discussed baseball stories and blog posts.
