Here’s a big clue about why Microsoft and Edelman PR sent bloggers computers with Windows Vista already installed instead of just sending them the software to duplicate the experience the rest of Windows users can expect.
“The Wow! Starts Now” crows the Windows Vista home page. But Chris Pirillo at Windows Fanatics indicates the wows may include:
– Wow! None of my software works right in Vista
– Wow! I’ve got font mayhem here!
– Wow! They didn’t ship this with an ISO mounting tool!
If you’re not ready to make an investment in new software, Pirillo advises, stick with XP for at least another year.”
