Guy Kawasaki has a great post about why becoming a venture capitalist should be something you do at the end of your career, not the beginning. Having had “the shitake kicked out of you” should be a requirement, he says, in his “advice to all the Biffs, Sebastians, Brooks, and Tiffanys who want to be kingmakers.”
