Google’s new, free, Databoard lets you make and share custom Infographics from reports in Google’s vast research archives.

Currently available research report categories are advertising, mobile, cross-media. You can share on Google Plus, Facebook, Twitter and in email, and you can the URL to put it on a blog or presentation. The tool’s not perfect: you can’t copy the code to run the Infographic, and it doesn’t link back to the original report. Instead, you have to direct viewers to the Google Databoard site to see the Infographic.

You can customize the headline and description and select the data you want to include. Here’s one I made on U.S. smartphone patterns. Your turn.

Market research companies ought to be worried.
