Piers Fawkes, of the trend forecasting blog psfk.com has launched a preview of if — a members only subscription blog. The site will require members to log in to read posts, but RSS headlines will be publicly available.
IF’s tagline is “Daily Inspiration for Brand Planners & Creative Marketers.” IF stands for Idea Forge, and the blog is meant to provide members with creative stimulus. The site is sponsored by the British ad agency Cunning, known for its foreheADs forehead ads and other stunts.
The first 500 IF subs are free. It’ll be $20 a month until it reaches 5000 members and then the sub will rise. Fawkes says anyone who wants a free sub should email him and ask nicely.
