Dan Gilmor’s Bayosphere blog is invitng readers to join as a citizen journalist, by taking a pledge which includes the promise to “be accurate, complete, fair and transparent in my postings on Bayosphere.”
The pledge stirred up bloggers, and the suggestion that readers be able to rate posts about how well the writers comply.
The need for standards is clear and this is a good place to begin.
