The beta for the Firefox launch of Congoo the new search engine that makes premium, restricted and/or subscription-only Web content available to anyone, free of charge, has been delayed “about a week” according to the site.
Congoo lets users access four to 15 articles per month of premium content from each of many participating publishers without having a subscription or having to fill out registration forms. Among the publishers are Adweek, Editor & Publisher, Financial Times, Institutional Investor, TheStreet.com, The Hollywood Reporter, The New Republic, Encyclopaedia Britannica Online, The Boston Globe, The Chicago Tribune, The Denver Post, and The Philadelphia Inquirer.
