Cosimo Gavallero, creator of “My Sweet Lord”, the banned 200-lb., life-size, anatomically correct chocolate statue of Jesus reports he is hiding the controversial statue in a refrigerated truck at an undisclosed location until it finds a new home.
The Roger Smith Hotel gallery, where the nude statue was supposed to be shown, caved to various fanatical pressures and withdrew the show, causing the gallery director to
resign in protest.
How long before all of this shows up in a episode of Buns & Chou Chou or Galacticast is anyone’s guess.
Colin McEnroe at the Hartford Courant wonders if you did see the statue, if you would eat the ears first, like you do with a chocolate bunny.
