Viral Video: Entire Hospital Staff Boogies in "Pink Glove Dance" to Raise Breast Cancer Awareness
To promote breast cancer awareness, the entire staff of the Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, Ore. donned pink gloves and danced to Jay Sean's "Down." There's some pretty snazzy choreography too! I love that Rockettes-like arm thing!
It features more than 200 hospital workers, from the CEO to nurses, doctors, cooks, cleaning services, lab technicians and even a cancer patient.
The video - not surprisingly - has gone viral on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and email. As of today, it's been viewed 883,502 times since Nov. 13th.
A portion of the sale of Medline's "Generation Pink" gloves goes to provide free mammograms for the community. Medline also will donate $1 of every case purchased to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF), the company's Breast Cancer Awareness campaign partner.
