How to Convert Your TV to Digital - A Reality Check for Marketers

Marketers should really take this as a reality check. Those of us who spend our days online need to remember that a lot of people still have no idea how to upload a photo, use a search engine, etc. And you can be sure this lady never heard of - and could care less about - Twitter.

Hilarious video. I can't wait to see what is done with that unused broadband.

Great video--and a great point about people's varying degree of tech savvy. On either side of my house, my neighbors are in their late 70s/early 80s (depends on the side), and they're actually pretty comfortable with their computers, but Twitter--they'd never see the point in that.

I think someone's intentionally making the DTV thing complicated. It reads about as clearly as the tax code. Maybe a conspiracy to get people with antennas to simply stop watching TV? (It worked, I did--canceled the cable and no more TV at my house... It's awesome.)

And VBP, aren't they planning to auction it off? Or was that just speculation?
