My Favorite Thing a PR Person Ever Told Me

"I apologize for the incontinence and will make the changes in our media list."

People's lack of concern to follow even the simplest of directions (what publicists, publishers, journalists do and don't cover)never ceases to amaze me.

If they care so little about the preferences of the person they're pitching, why on earth should they expect that person to care any more?
