A Doggie Fashion Show

These are scenes from the doggie fashion show and social networking party for pups and people at the W Hotel tonight to celebrate the publication of pet expert Charlotte Reed's new book, Miss Fido Manners Complete Book of Dog Etiquette

It proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that all dogs want to do is sniff other dogs' butts.

The author has toured the country with a couple of flaks to launch her book. There was an open bar, lots of good munchies for humans and pupsters, and there was a great goodie bag for Benny Bix Ochman Labradoodle Puppy too!

Of all the dogs my family has owned, I can't say that any would be willing to don human clothes.

We once had a couple of dachshunds who vowed that they'd go down fighting before we'd get a sweater on them. And all we were trying to do was keep their dogsuits warm in the winter time.

I learned my lesson when I tried to put a cowboy costume on my dear Yellow Lab, Sammy.

By time we got to the doggie halloween costume contest, his cowboy hat was under his chin, he'd peed on the vest, and two of the boots had come off.

He was so embarrassed. And so, I think, are the dogs who tolerate being dressed in Juicy Couture, etc.

So I'm not getting benny bix ochman labradoodle puppy's hair cut til spring. It's 4 inches long already and he looks more like a wookie every day.
