Letterman Forces Paris Hilton to Talk About Jail

David Letterman grilled Paris Hilton about jail, from the food to whether she learned anything from the experience. Did her flaks really believe he wouldn't want to talk about prison?

"I'm here for my movie and my clothing line and my perfume!" she said.
"I'm not here to talk about that!"
"We have other things to talk about Dave."
"I've moved on with my life."
"I'm not going to answer any more questions about that, Dave."
He refused to back down, to his credit, in my opinion.

Dear Paris: Do something to help women prisoners' self-esteem. You're always going to be known for the jail time. It's never going away. Deal with it realistically. Hey, you might help someone."

Which is what Letterman was trying to tell you.

Poor poor Paris!

Actually I think she handled David Letterman very well. Good responses, and she was polite. Sure she squirmed in her seat, and Dave did what Dave always does - he pushes the hot button as long as he can. He was persistent, AND he did eventually back down!

He let up, and Paris survived! In my opinion she ended up on top!
