Yoda Visits Hawaii Post Office

Tom McCarthy, Postmaster, Holualoa HI 96725, sent me this photo. He says that on the day the Yoda stamp was launched,

"I spent the good part of the day hobbling around on my knees selling the new Star Wars stamps. Talk about creative marketing!"

For all the great things that Internet marketing can achieve, some experiences only matter in person - like meeting Yoda or Like having Santa in the store at Christmas.

You know, as a transplanted New Yorker, I have to agree: No WAY you'd get a postal worker in the Big Apple to do that!

Just LOVE Holualoa . . . but how will I recognize this guy the next time I go to mail a letter?
