FatBlogging: I'm In

Jason Calacanis and Hugh Macleod and more bloggers every day are in Jason's Fatblogging movement. I'm in.

I intend to lose 15 pounds. Sorry Jason, I'm not going to blog my weight before or after, but I am going join my buds in getting (more) gorgeous. I have a big birthday coming up March 13, and I think working on feeling good will be a great way to celebrate it.

Here's my plan:
- No sugar. (OMG, can she do it!?)
- No white rice, no potatoes. No butter. (oy vey)
- Lots of veggies. Lots more veggies.
- Add two hours a week of swing dancing to the five I already do.
- Walk a third fast mile a day with Benny Bix Ochman Labradoodle puppy dog.
- Do strength training twice a week for 20 minutes.

Goal: Two pounds a week. I'll update next Monday.

Another blogger/podcaster and I in the UK started out at the beginning of Jan to lose 6 stone!

We decided that we loved social media and making it public - including a weekly weigh in on the podcast(!) - would keep us focused. I have never had so much fun, or laughed so much indeed I look forward to recording the podcast Middle Age Shed would you believe.

The interesting thing is that I only know Heather Gorringe through blogging....only me her once...and yet social media has brought me a great new friendship. If you want to join us www.middleageshed.co.uk
