The Most Dangerous Article of the Week

The most dangerous article of the week, by Catherine Seda, maintains that anyone can write articles that'll drive traffic to their site, increase their SEO, etc. "Think you need to be a professional writer to write articles for the web? Think again" she writes. Oy vey!

The problem: half the people who call themselves professional writers can't write their way out of a paper bag. What the world needs now is not more untrained writers. We already have that. It's called the blogosphere.

Oy vey is right. What we don't need is more dreck on the Web. Save me from people who write while caring only about key words!

Oh, come on, BL! You plaster your site in AdSense ads, rely heavily on BoingBoing reposts for traffic, and miss no opportunity to sell one of your "reports."

You are just as much in it for the small change as Seda is, admit it.

Allan: Don't let the door hit you on your way out.
